MapleStory? wtf is MapleStory?

Yo fellow citizens of Canada and the United States. Glory to you all. Shun the outsiders. *ahem*.

So my life has been sort of in this slump. I’m gonna be working at this random trust/loan/idontevenknowwhatthef company. Now since I don’t wish to be fired before I even started, I’m not going to mention the company. Oh, and I’m only “interning” for a 3-4 month period… I’m in this stoopid coop program at University that takes 5 freaking years to complete, since you have to work every other term. (A year is divided into 3 terms, in case you were wondering.)

So friends that you meet in the first/second term that start working earlier than you, YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE AGAIN CUZ THIS SCHOOL IS KOOL LIKE DAT. Well, you might see them.. after 4 years. LOL.

So eventually I’m gonna have to study over the summer – JOY TO THE WORLD Y’ALL.

Oh, if you’re wondering why I just used the term y’all, that’s because I have to. It’s a cultural thing. I now reside in what we call the -DEADZONE-

So Cleburne’s this town that’s home to some of the largest chemical factories in North America. My Dad’s a research chemist, and since he’s always looking for new employment this just happened to be the next in a series of jobs that he’s held.

So let’ see.

I was born in China.. moved to Columbus, Ohio when I was 6… moved to Montreal, Quebec when I was 9… moved to Albany, New York when I was 14, then studied at the University of Waterloo/lived in Toronto when I was 18… and now I’m 19… visiting them in Cleburne, Texas.

With live cactus might I add.

Even though moving around is fun and all (cough LOL NO its not im just lying to myself to feel better) it’s super sad abandoning your friends every 5 years. :C

But yeah… we recently got internet again, so I’ve been able to get on Skype and chat with most of you lovely peoples. I’ve not been able to play a lot of games, especially League with this crappy internet on this crappy laptop… my character freezes every once in a while… so I’ve resorted to one of my guilty pleasures… MapleStory.

So there’s this new OP class, but since most of you guys don’t like Maple I’ll keep it short. It’s called Luminous and it’s superb. Kills everything on the map at once, so you get something like this (I made the character yesterday).

Unfortunately the exp is not over 9000.

Fun stuff.
