If I were captain, I wouldn’t be sure whether to be happy that my idea was revived or angry someone took my idea. I’d probably be happy though.

That’s just it, Vusys isn’t all “lulz.” If Captain cared about anyone else, he’d recognize what’s going on here isn’t what he’s making it out to be. Vusys recognizes that the code is Captain’s, that’s why he’s trying to redesign the site. However, Vusys also recognizes that the community needs a site (Proboards is not sufficient). Thus, in order to provide that site, he temporarily uses the code as a starting point. He’s not making money off of it; he’s not opening it to the public. He’s not seeking to benefit from the code in any way. Compassion and the ability to sympathize with others is what’s needed here. Unfortunately, it looks like Captain lacks both of those things.
