    You don’t play chords on Bass. To use a pick, it has to be pretty thick… But normally, people just pluck with their index finger, and middle finger as well for the faster notes. Sometimes for effect, they just slam their thumb, which makes a staccato-like sound.

    My french teacher last year played double-bass (stand up). The bassist of the grade 9 stage band was away, so they asked the french teacher to play, since the strings are the same, and he’s used to plucking. But LMAO, my music teacher was saying about how his eyes were leik “OMG WTF” when he saw the music. XDD Jazz stuff, so it’s complicated.

    Anyways, when you learn how to play…

    Meh. i can give up my hopes of playing. The only musical instrument i ever played was the Flute. and i only picked it because it was like the recorded and would require the least amount of effort to learn.
