Is it possible to recover an account after someone else got it banned when he hacked it?Just wondering.

You have been personally witnessed by a GM using hacking materials, which violates the Terms of Use.
Your appeal to have your ban lifted must be denied. Your account will not be released from its block. Please remember that all users are required to follow the rules set forth by our Terms of Use. There can be no exceptions for this.

Nexon America, Inc.If you have a reference to the last ticket, I asked a question on whether it was possible to be unbanned if someone OTHER than the person who owned the account was using it for purposes against the Terms of Service.
Basically, if I lost the account due to a keylogger – and I hadn’t known about it, before going back to the game… and found that I was banned, I didn’t go against the ToS, the other person did.
It’s unfortunate really… I used to appreciate your tech support on some of my other accounts a lot, but now computerized responses won’t answer a question, but instead direct it at something I did not ask for in the first place.

To answer your specific question, regardless of who may have been on your account, the responsibility of protecting access to the account is your responsibility. As such, the consequence of failing to do so must fall upon you, the account owner. In the future you may want to be more careful with your information or your computer security.
Additional tickets about this matter will not be necessary.

You shouldn’t blame Nexon for responding in that way, because it’s the only type of response that prevents the real cheaters from getting back into the system.
Yeah, one bad decision on Nexon’s part (letting an actual hacker using your story get his/her account back) will totally make them out as assholes to the people that were actually screwed like you and everyone else. My God if the media was to hear about such a thing happening… well… they’d turn it into a story about how online games are havens for pedophiles and encourage kids to commit violence.
No offense, but they are totally right, this subject comes up a lot at gamefaqs, too
your account is your responsibility, it’s unfortunate but there’s not really much else to it
be grateful, on GFAQs all accounts are tied to a common usermap and if, for example, your brother called someone a faggot and got banned your account may be banned too (called a Usermap axe)
so at least you can still make a new account, in the case above you’d either be blocked or every new account would be set to read-only status which means you permanently lose posting priveleges

I realized Nexon tech support people were humans when I sent them two of the same tickets which didn’t actually happen, and made the first word of each paragraph in capital letters saying “BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS” and signed both of them -Bender
Their response to the first one was “Haha” and the second one was “Stop it.”
