ParticipantLavina stared wide eyed at the King. He asked her the one piece of information she could not give. She could describe what he looked like, sounded like, his drinking habits, his experience with women (she was certain it was zero), but she did not know his name. She knew most of the regulars, but this one was not around long enough for them to be fully acquainted. She closed her eyes, and though. Maybe she had heard the name while working, or he has causally mentioned it to her in his breif conversation.
NOTHING! This man had asked her to join his secret society, ordered booze, and even implied sexual relations, but failed at giving Lavina his name. Curse these drunken bastards!
She gulped and looked back up the King. His grin was intimidating. “Alas Your Highness, he did not give me his name…But if you would give me the chance, I can surely find this crucial information! He has been a recurring costumer lately at my place of work, and I know that I can get him to reveal his name! Please, Your Highness!” This was the only time Lavina could beg at a mans feet and not feel ashamed.

ParticipantHer plea shocked Bogdan, realizing he had much more power than he originally thought he had.. He grinned at that thought, and started to speak to Lavina.
“Lavina, your dedication and beauty is admirable. For that, I shall spare you…” Bogdan spoke. “… However, you must get his name within by the day after tomorrow night. You will be rewarded greatly should you succeed. Should you not succeed…” he couldn’t help but let out a small smirk. “… You will not be spared and be immediately sent to the dungeon. I made myself clear enough. You shall sleep in the guest’s room; my wenches will lead you.” Two wenches took Lavina to the guest’s room, which is grand and has a balcony.
“Now… Louis…” said the king with a smile. “About the beer I ordered.”
Noises of jolly laughter, beer glasses, and loud glass shattering spread throughout the entire castle.29 November 2009 at 20:31 #18143Gujju
ParticipantLavina was taken aback. She had not expected that the King would make her stay in the castle! She needed to leave. If she did not get back to the tavern within a reasonable time, the owner would definitely start asking questions. She looked at the wenches that were escorting her to her room. Unlike herself, these two were not serving wenches, and obviously did not have the brains that Lavina had. It would be easy enough to fool them.
When they reached the guest room, Lavina was once again shocked. She had never had the chance to be in such an extravagant place before. It was a shame that she would not be able to enjoy it, but certain things were more important. She looked back at the two woman, who seemed to be waiting for Lavina’s word to take their leave.
“Be sure to thank the King for this lovely room, but do tell him I wont be needing it for very long. Send him my apologies” she said sternly. She knew they simply took orders, not taking any deeper meaning in the words she, or anyone else, said.
“yes, my lady”, they said in unison, curtsying and then departing. Lavina ran to the balcony as soon as they were out of site. She did not have much time. She grabbed a linen sheet from the bed in the room, and tied one end securely to the railing on the balcony. She took a deep breath, and carefully climbed to the other side of the railing, resting her feet on the edge. Then, she began to slowly lower herself to the group, keeping a firm grip on the sheet. She finally got close enough to the group, and she hopped off, landing lightly on the dirt.
Great. Now to figure out how to get back

ParticipantZaneck watched from behind the bush, the waitress was escorted inside by two other wenches. Shortly afterwards, Louis was also invited into the castle surprisingly. What kind of relation do these people have with the king? He decided to infiltrate the castle and find out. As he approached the castle, he heard a light, thudding noise around him and held his back to the castle wall, then he saw it was the waitress that he was tailing from before. She looked around as if she were lost and he decided to approach her.
“Being invited into the castle by the king and escaping from the balcony, that does not seem like appropriate behavior for a guest of the King,” he said as he approached her. “As far as I’m concerned, nobody is allowed to stay in the King’s castle as a guest unless they had something he wanted.”

ParticipantKing Bogdan was drunk. VERY drunk. He punched the two wenches in the face while having drunken laughter with Louis, who had his shirt off and was standing on the table like a lunatic.
Meanwhile, Atticus passed out on the floor of the Golden Lizard tavern, having too much to drink.29 November 2009 at 23:15 #18148Gujju
ParticipantIn the midst of looking around, Lavina found herself suddenly facing the cloaked man from the tavern. What is he doing here? He couldn’t be working for King…could he?
“I suppose it isn’t appropriate behavior, sir. But I think due to the circumstances, the King wont mind too much. As for my invitation to stay there…I had business with the King, and that is all I can tell you. However, I could ask why you, sir, are wandering the castle grounds. You are not dressed like a guard, or anyone else who works for the King for that matter. Is there any reason you are here trespassing?” Lavina asked. She could play this game too.

“Trespassing, why whatever do you mean? I see no trespassers here,” Zaneck nonchalantly said. “If anyone were to suspect another of trespassing, it should be me. You jumped down from one of the King’s quarters, which can only mean either one; you’re escaping from captivity, or two; you’re a thief trying to steal his jewels and riches for yourself and you’re making your getaway. It is most likely the first option, since you are carrying no bag of jewels or riches. As for me, I am a but one of the King’s private selection. Now tell me, what is this important ‘business’ you have with the King?”

Participant“That would not explain why you are roaming such a deserted part of the castle grounds. As for me, I told you my matters with the King is private. If you need to know, the King will tell you himself. If I was escaping, would I would be coming down from one of the nicest rooms in the castle? I would suspect the dungeon is more suitable for that kind of thing”
Lavina raised her eyebrow, awaiting another witty response.

Participant“Who are you?”
Kit awkwardly dusted herself off, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Looking at this tall, pretty archeress made her feel extremely short and uncomfortable. Glancing through her peripherals to see if Lucifer was coming over, she held out a tiny hand for the other woman to shake and simply said, “I’m Kit. You?”

Participant“I have no obligation to tell you what order the King has given me,” Zaneck replied, he quickly made up an excuse to quicken the pace. “I decided to return to the castle grounds two hours prior to the given time. The King is usually attending to his own business at this hour and does not wish to be bothered by anyone. However, if he had let you stay in one of the guest rooms, you must have some pretty important information. Would you tell me what information you hold for him? I know that even if you had told him, he would only ask me to confirm it. Would you please tell me, if you will, to save the trouble of me entering and leaving the castle once again?”

ParticipantRebecca eyed the woman’s out stretched hand suspiciously, “Rebecca,” she replied turning away from the woman’s hand. Kit’s companion was now walking over in his cloak and sparked Rebecca’s interest.
“And may I inquire who your companion is, and why he is wearing such attire on a warm day like such?”
