Er, scratch taht I meant second RP. I forgot DaMunky’s little blog RP thingamabob.
So…I looked over the last RP and I’m feeling a little RP…y. It’s been a while since the last RP, so how about another one?
It’ll be the first RP on VuTales, and the fourth RP in existence. (Paper Hell, Moonlight Bay, Some Steampunk RP by Tarheel) I think we started another RP on the forums, but it was deleted by Boggy when the Great Spam Attack occurred, which led to the eventual collapse of MMOTales. RIP MMOT.
Man, them RPs give me great memories. Liek liek once, I was riding on a giant block of ice and it ran over someone, lolololol.

Alright, so here goes nothing:
In the simple town of VuTalia, a cruel and unjust ruler by the name of King Raczynski the Basiler kept the citizens in fear. He would silence all those who opposed him, making them an example of what happens to those who defy his rule. Nobody in the town liked the king, save for a couple loyal knights of his, but that was it. But before his evil reign of tyranny, the town of VuTalia used to be a jubilant town of riches ruled by the fair Lord Channon. Lord Channon’s evil half-brother, Boggy Raczynski, was extremely jealous of his half-brother’s fame. He had tried for years to gain the respect of the citizens of VuTalia, but to no avail. They all laughed at him, with his bald head, bright and shiny. Eventually, he ran out of money, and wandered among the streets of VuTalia, homeless and hungry. Lord Channon asked him to join him in his lovely castle, but Boggy refused, angry and spiteful at Channon.
Years went by and things weren’t working so well for Boggy. Though he had made some money with weird music he made by bashing pots and rocks together, claiming it to be a hip style of music from the New World, people began to suspect things and his small sum of money eventually disappeared. One day, Lord Channon, on one of his morning walks, noticed him passed out by the side of the street. Raczynski was immediately taken in and treated like royalty. Boggy, still full of vengeance, took this opportunity to his advantage and one night while Channon slept, Boggy swiftly stabbed him in the heart, killing him immediately. There was a law that whoever takes the life of the king, becomes the new ruler, and with this, Boggy Raczynski became the new ruler of VuTalia.
Now, five years later, the town of VuTalia lost its exuberant vibe it had once held, and instead filled with moroseness and scorn. Many people plotted to overthrow the king, but they were unsuccessful and swiftly punished. It seemed there was no hope for VuTalia. Until one day, a group of people gathered together to form the Cross Society (tentative name. :|).
Characters under the age of 16 will act as pages and mentor under an established member of the Cross Society.

Bio: Hugh G. Rection lived a happy life five years ago. He and his father were expert fighters. His father would boast that he could take down a hundred men, and each day, his life went into danger as he was pitted against many men, eager on the prize of 5000 gold. Each day, he emerged as the victor, and the Rection family grew richer. One day, something happened and a strangely dressed challenger appeared and challenged the father. Hugh tried to stop the duel, as he felt something was a bit wrong, but it was no use. His father’s pride was too much. At the start of the match, the strange man drew out a weird contraption that looked like a metal boomerang. In a split second, a projectile shot out from the weapon and into his father’s heart immediately killing him. The man fled, weapon in hand, never to be seen again. However, the man’s face was burned into his memory and five years later when Raczynski reigned supreme, he recognized the face as none other than King Raczynski himself.Soooo, he founded the Cross Society and went out to recruit people for his attack on Boggy and bring peace and justice to the town of VuTalia. Bio: Sent by a group called the Priory of Nine from a faraway land. On a mission trying to earn the name of Divine Crusader. He was told that the ruler of Vu Talia held an important relic. He is to destroy this relic, but was not told what it was, nevermind how to get the freaking thing. The Priory of Nine is his life; even his earliest memories are of training to become a Crusader.

He naturally wants to protect others, but recently, he has been exposed to a world of magic and supernatural abilities, and can not fight them with his teachings, which would be finesse and phyisical strength. He can call upon the power of the Nine Divines to heal himself and others, which is strongest at noon. However, even the power of the Nine Divines at noon does not have the ability to ressurect the dead or completely heal someone with mortal injuries.Weapon of Choice: Sword + Shield

He holds a Valkyrie wing tattoo on his upper left shoulder, unknown origin. Although a adept fighter, he contains various scars along his muscular scars on his body due to his childhood training.
Bio:
Luciano Domenico Catarina Di Luca is a faceless, stealthy, attractive man living in hiding underground in the township of Vutalia. He works as a hired assassin for the various factions around the county. He is not loyal to any side, and will offer his heartless services to anyone who offers him what he wants, gold or information.
He is therefore both a huge target and yet a secret weapon. Lucifer lives underground with his amnesiac mother and a room of tools made by him.
Born to a upper class Italian family, Lucifer was by all means a normal child. He grew up in a very educational childhood, mostly due to his mother who worked as a teacher and mentor, and was known to be quiet, but trustworthy and a good child. However, during the fabled Raids of Florence, Lucifer lost not only his little brother, but his mother’s memory. Wandering the abandoned streets with a braindead mother and an empty pocket, Lucifer grew a gnawing, continual need for vengeance within him. Although he had no initial clues as to who attacked his family, he made it his life’s goal to become a fighter and avenge the Di Luca name.
Lucifer has been known to voice his strong opinion when verbally attacked, otherwise, he is a quiet individual. His skill with his custom-made Hidden Blades and his proficiency with the various weapons of the day and age derived from years of self-training and meditation. He is infamous as the best at what he does, killing prime targets and proving a valuable soldier in swordfights. He has created many enemies in the past but is very good at staying hidden and using stealth during a paid mission.
Lucifer is also extremely dexterous. He can sprint for long periods and can climb walls and ledges with ease. He does need occasional breaks, however. The less equipment he carries with him, the faster he can move.Lucifer is an adept fighter. This does not mean he is without his weaknesses. Anyone who is an expert in a certain weaponry field will out-do Lucifer in almost all cases. Lucifer is made for stealth kills and group NPC takeouts, not head-to-head combat.
He carries with him a various loadout of weapons depending on his situation.

Only one of each category can be carried.Weapon of Choice: Hidden Blade for Assassinations, proficient in combat with Long Sword, Short Swords, Maces, Spears, Halberds, and Warhammers. Will succumb to someone better at combat with a specific weapon when head-to-head. All weapons he uses are hand-made and therefore can be quite shabby.
Fears: Lucifer has a small fear of blood. While dormant, Lucifer will try to avoid causing massive gore or bloodshed, or will attempt to look away from such situations. Lucifer also has an incurable Hydrophobia, or fear of open water and Claustrophobia, or fear or enclosed spaces like tombs and very small closets/rooms.

We had a lot of people in our past RPs as well.

Zaneck was born into a argumentative family but he was the only sane one, not arguing whether or not he had filled the basin. On his 13th birthday, his parents began scolding him on his ‘irregular’ activities, which was getting a job, and lectured him for hours and hours on how he should be bringing home dinner at that age. At one point, he flipped them off and ran off. He was able to strike up a deal and worked as a slave for half a year under a false name, while also attending to his regular job. He was so sick and tired of this lifestyle that he just stole their money, ran off to another family and repeated the process. He did this for a year and a half before running off to wherever the roads took him. After traveling for a month, he still had plenty of funds and stumbled upon the kingdom of VuTalia. He began a new life there as a weapons dealer but mostly kept his face hidden from public view, afraid that they might recognize him.He is a skilled marksman and is proficient with close combat weapons. He learned a technique that allowed him to poison the tip of his arrow and whenever his business would be slow, he would take up an assassination mission. Recently, he had heard of several others taking up similar assassination missions and is waiting on a list of names from his source, “The Eye”. Recently, he has been heard of the “Cross Society” and is keeping tabs on them.
Description:
Zaneck is rarely seen in public without his hood off his head. Sometimes, he takes off his hood in courtesy in one of the rare moments that he invites someone into a private meeting. Though in the occasion that he does, he shows his raven black hair and cerulean eyes and sometimes you may see part of the black crest branded upon the lower part of his neck which stretches to his left shoulder. He wears a light tunic with long sleeves that, as opposed to having heavy steel plating, allows him more mobility. It is dyed black but in rare occasions he wears one with a white dye. Behind him is a cloak in which he hides his bow and quiver. In the event that he loses his primary weapon, he has several hidden daggers throughout his body which he may used as a close combat weapon or may be thrown.Weapon of Choice: He has a bow and a quiver for whenever the need arrives around his back but in the event that he loses his bow or the odds become unfavorable, he may pull out hidden daggers.
Fears: Death, failure, assassins, berserkers
