I am a poor university student. I live off own brand soup and slightly stale bread.
I think we’ve revisited the whole “get new traffic to VuTales” thing to death. Sure, we could certainly keep trying, but the chances of people wanting to stay in our little cozy website are fairly slim unless we individually get people to come.. and that hasn’t worked out very well.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see more people on this site because of the history, and I’d hate to see it die, but I can’t see us getting a boom of new users any time soon.

I beg to differ. It’s only been a few years since VuTales’ inception. I think we can visit this “new traffic” theory a few more times before it dies.

Jokes aside, we need either a more focused community or simply more people. Take your pick.I’m telling you, gimme a chat room and I will be here so often that you’ll actually have a chance to get sick of me. Like in the good ol’ days!
I think one of the reasons we may not get many new members is because the purpose of the site is kinda confusing. It doesn’t really have a unified direction in terms of content. That direction used to be MapleStory, but now we’re all over the damn place, and that can be really confusing to someone looking in from outside.
“Blog about anything” is just way too broad. There are already so many other sites for that out there, so I don’t think it’s a niche VuTales will find a place in. Plus, many people are already juggling several social media sites at once and simply have no time nor interest in joining another (sadly one of the reasons you hardly see me around, but thankfully I have most of you on facebook.)
