ohai.
So today in class my *new* English teacher was showing us clips of different people. He then said they all had something in common.
They all had lives.
Then he asked us if there was such things as "Wasted lives."
Of course people said yes, so then he said there must be things called "Successful lives."
Some people again agree.
So he asked what is a "successful life?"
He went around the room asking each student. Most of them said money. But the guy sitting next to me said happiness.
My teacher asked him why he would say something like that.
And he replied: "Because if you're not happy, you're not living."
So my teacher asked him if that meant you were dead.
And he said: "No, you're just…there."
Finally it was my turn. I told him there is no such thing as a wasted life.
He was shocked I'd disagree, being as cocky and over confident as I always am.
I said. "Every life is valuable. Not matter who you are."
He asked me why.
I shrugged. "No one should just be called a waste."
So then he said: "So that means no one has a successful life?"
"Yes there is such thing as being successful. Money grants happiness…for a limited amount of time anyway."
Now is was his turn to shrug.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"I dunno. You tell me." He replied.
Now I'm all confused. =/
How can anyone determine if a life is wasted? If anything, it should show from the person's actions.
So I joined a club finally. So I won't just Maple all day after school.
Another Preforming Arts club. Mostly surrounded by acting. But just last night we preformed a show infront of parents.
It was a piece from Guys And Dolls the musical.
We had to do it, just so the Drama department can approve of us and so we won't have any competition. *COUGH LIKE THE GLEE CLUB LEAD BY 
DA TRAITOR
We're better.
I mean, our girls wear skirts. And there's more of us than them. Cuz everyone wants to see me! <3
We're thinking of doing an Improvisation(?) show for Valentine's. Only if the gang's up for it…

My Class Drama show was horrid.
Everyone fuxed it up. Including me.
For some reason, my teacher didn't feel like working the lights. So when we were supposed to have a blackout. We just ended up staring at him.
Then he slowly dimmed the lights. But by then our scene was ruined. =/
*Sigh*

Man, this reminds me of a part of Halo: Fall of Reach (the book, read it). See if that clears things up/confuses you more.
well people who say another person’s life is a waste are usually bigoted airheaded gossips who dont know how to stfu. if that person is happy with what they are doing in their life, you cant call it a waste. you can say “they are making stupid decisions based on what i think”. if a person who is great at nuclear physics but chooses to ctop doing that and go into being an artist or something, let them!
now say someone who is great at nuclear physics, decides to use drugs and drink to excess and all that stuff. alot of people would sya “that is a waste” but it is also their choice. all you can do is try to help them as best you can and hope that they listen.
