I’m an atheist, does that matter for anything?

Listen to this as you read:

If anyone is given a position of power, they like to tell themselves, “I’ll do good. I’ll fix the world from where we are standing and I’ll do it in the blink of an eye. Given the chance, I am Earth’s paragon of virtue.”

Or you have the supposed “badasses” that would say, “FUCK BITCHES, GET MONEY, YEAAA”

Well, shit. I don’t have any creativity, apparently, so I’ll steal from both sides.

One day is given to me, so I’ll try to time this nicely. I’ll start off the day by abolishing all forms of government, tactile, functional, or otherwise. All country borders are destroyed, and maps are rewritten. We are back at Pangaea. Or should I say, “Pirgaia”

Wait, no, that doesn’t roll off the tongue. Pergaia. Yea, that’s better.

I situate myself, being all godly, in the middle of California. They have nice weather, usually. I would have chosen Florida if not for the constant hurricanes.

Oh, right, hurricanes. All forms of destructive weather, erased. The Earth’s tides are calm. It’s plates are simple, and unmoving. And if I break any science laws on the way, I’ll change them. I’m GOD.

Anyways…I’d create my regime of workers, cosigners, and campaigners. Anyone who chooses to be on my side, gets a chair near my throne. Anyone else, can fend for themselves.

Then…I’d play Risk, in real life. I’d gather the armies of all the countries in the world, and hand them off to different people of power. I would remove pain, so that people cannot die (during my play wars, anyways). I’d simulate nuclear war, complete domination, anarchism, everything every army could muster. And then do it again, with different leaders. I would propel those leaders to the top of the food chain. This are my commanders.

I would remove money from everyone, but let them keep assets like property and weapons. I’d find out who has prepared themselves for such a world, and who scrambles to find resources and stay alive. Mass turmoil would erupt, of course, cars would be stolen, food and water be hoarded away. I’d find the best and brightest of the bunch, the ones who have an emergency backpack at the foot of every door, the one’s who know a .22 caliber from a paintball gun.

And I’d make them zombies. Invincible, airborne virus, control over muscle system, zombies. I have the power to make anyone I wish to be immune, so me and my circle get to watch the chaos.

Now, by this time, it’d be around dusk, and zombies are always scarier at night. I’d fly out to space and watch the world crumble under the might of the brightest and best zombies. I’d take notes. I’d experiment. I’d give select few the antidote and watch them fight, hungry, unresponsive to care and decency. I want to see blood.

My world is now utterly devastated. Countries have been ravaged, people killed for amusement, and my inner circle watching with amusement. I would assign my commanders to different parts of the world, the oceans, the countries, and mountains, and give them the power to fix what has gone wrong. The touch of life, the rations of the hungry, everything they need to make the world right once again. But they need to hurry, we’re on a time limit..

I’d be observing all of this, from above, watching my minions attempt to fix what I have destroyed. My time as the One is running out. I hand out the money I stole from the rich, I fix what was wrong, and I move continents, jsut to see what would happen.

10 minutes left. With a sweep of two fingers, I revert everything back to how it was before I was God. Nobody will remember a thing, except me. I walk amongst my people. Do they know there is a God among them? Will they ever know?

My watch ticks, it’s time for me to let go.

I wake up.

I am armed with the knowledge that scientists and political leaders everyone wish they could know. I have the power to cause a shift in the world, to make the only household name, mine. I have the chance to go from regular human, to commander of Earth.
