Ok, so that's interesting. I actually kinda like it 
And this is kind of perfect, in a really funny way, because the topic of my blog is going to pertain to word count.
So, the reason I haven't been here in a few months is because I've been really busy writing my story. Book. Novel. Whatever.
It's an action/adventure/romance/comedy/fantasy.
Which isn't all that wierd after you've seen Firefly, which is action/adventure/western/futuristic/sci-fi/comedy with heavy Chinese influences.
Yea, it's pretty out there. But it's Joss Whedon, so I'm not complaining.
Anyway, I started the story in October of last year, and it's going along pretty nicely.
93,000 words, 270 pages. That's how far I am.
To put that into perspective, I've just passed Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (85,141 words), and I'm moving on to Prisoner of Azkaban (107,253 words).
But…I'm only a quarter of the way done.
So 93,000 x 4 = …372,000 words.
Which is…a third bigger then Order of the Phoenix (257,045 words).
Which means…
I will be inactive for a really, really long time ;_;
But I really love my story and I want to finish it.
Not sure about publishing it, though. I might give it to a few of my friends to read to see if they think it's worthy.
Anyway, one of my characters looks a lot like 
Theo Theodoridis.
Who makes me really, really wish that I had been born in Greece. -Drools-

Wow, that’s really impressive. I’ve never had the resolve to finish any seriously long story I’ve begun. I think the most I’d ever done was 30 pages (I finished chapter 2 and my motivation died).

Well only nine are the actual “main” characters that are there for the whole story beginning to finish. But some of the secondary characters are there so often that they become semi-main-characters, so I feel like I have to include them, and pretty soon I just end up including everyone because I can’t make up my mind. LOL.
